Konkan Railway Recruitment board is Started hiring for various positions in 2024! They need candidates for roles like AEEE, Senior Technical Assistant/Electrical, Jr. Technical Assistant/Electrical, Jr. Technical Assistant/Civil, Design Assistant/Electrical, and Technical Assistant/Electrical. There are 42 vacancies available for these positions. If you’re selected, you’ll earn a monthly salary between Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 56,100, depending on the role. The educational qualifications needed vary for each position. The maximum age limit for applying is 45 years.
These positions are contract-based for one year initially, with the possibility of extension. Selection will be through a walk-in interview and Group Discussion. Travel expenses won’t be covered for attending the selection process. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can directly appear for the walk-in interview.

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of
Railways having its Corporate Office at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, invites applications for the
following posts on fixed term contract basis and on fixed remuneration basis for various projects in Civil / Electrical Department for initial period of one year.
Note: Apart from the basic pay, additional allowances will be provided based on the place of posting:
a) House Rent Allowance and Conveyance allowance will be given according to the rates and city classification set by the pay commission, provided accommodation and vehicle are not provided.
b) Dearness allowance on basic pay will be given from the date of joining in KRCL and will be revised yearly along with the revision of Basic Pay during the contract period.
The basic pay will be revised yearly, and exceptions may be made based on the discretion of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.
Other allowances/Facilities include:
a) Reimbursement of Life insurance premium up to Rs. 500/- per month from a recognized Insurance company on submission of the original receipt.
b) Mobile phone allowance ranging from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 750/- depending on Pay Matrix Level.
c) Medical Allowance of Rs. 500/- per month for OPD facility and reimbursement of Health policy premium up to Rs. 500/- per month.
d) Travel Allowance as per Pay Commission rates for official work beyond the project area.
e) Travel facilities including Railway Pass for duty travel, Air Travel in exceptional cases, and reimbursement for road travel.
f) Accommodation: Rest House of KRCL or reimbursement of hotel charges as per fixed rates.
g) Leave: 15 days earned leave every 6 months, accumulative but non-encashable, and 8 days Casual Leave per year. Weekly off, public holidays, and normal working hours apply.
h) Maternity benefits as per Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 for female contractual employees.
i) Other benefits: Contractual employees may be upgraded to the next higher level after two years of service, subject to vacancy and approval. Upgradation will be based on recommendation, interview, and approval by the Competent Authority.

Position: Assistant Executive Engineer (Contractual)
Level: 10
Basic Pay: Rs. 56,100/-
Essential Qualifications:
- Full-time Engineering Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical from a recognized university approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks.
Experience:
- Degree Engineers: Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Diploma Engineers: Minimum 8 years of experience.
- Experience should be in Railway Electrification projects like Overhead Equipments (OHE), Power supply Installations (PSI), Electrical General Services in Indian Railways/PSUs/Metro or Private firms with an annual turnover of at least 300 Cr.
- Familiarity with relevant specifications such as Railway Board & RDSO and other applicable codes & specifications is required.
Age Limit: 45 years
Position: Senior Technical Assistant / Electrical
Level: 7
Basic Pay: Rs. 44,900/-
Essential Qualifications:
- Full-time Engineering Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks.
Experience:
- Engineering Graduates: Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Diploma holders: Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience should be in Railway Electrification projects like Overhead Equipments (OHE), Power supply Installations (PSI), Electrical General Services in Indian Railways/PSUs/Metro or Private firms with an annual turnover of at least 300 Cr.

Essential Qualifications:

Experience:
- Diploma holders: Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Experience should be in Railway Electrification projects like Overhead Equipments (OHE), Power supply Installations (PSI), Electrical General Services in Indian Railways/PSUs/Metro or Private firms with an annual turnover of at least 300 Cr.
- Knowledge of relevant specifications such as Railway Board & RDSO and other applicable codes & specifications is required.

Position: Design Assistant / Electrical
Level: 6
Basic Pay: Rs. 35,400/-
Essential Qualifications:
- ITI (Draftsman in Electrical) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Board/Institute.
Experience:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- ITI holders: Minimum 8 years of experience.
- Diploma holders: Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Experience should include preparation of drawings for Railway Electrification and Electrical General Services using software like AutoCAD, BOCAD, etc. Familiarity with 3D Modeling is essential.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in preparing layout plans for Railway Electrification works.

Position: Technical Assistant / Electrical
Level: 4
Basic Pay: Rs. 25,500/-
Essential Qualifications:
- ITI from recognized institutions in any trade from a recognized Board/Institute.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical equipment.
Age Limit: 45 years
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited : Selection Process
Mode of Selection: WALK-IN INTERVIEW
Date, time and place of walk-in interview :
Registration Time:09.00 hrs to 12:00 hrs only on the date of walk-in-interview.
- Candidates must arrive at the designated time and venue and register with the nominated KRCL official for the walk-in interview. Depending on the number of candidates, a Group Discussion (GD) or another elimination round may be introduced. Those who pass the elimination round will proceed to the selection process.
- Each candidate will undergo an interview conducted by a nominated Committee. Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview, educational qualifications, and post-qualification experience.
- The decision of the Nominated Committee of KRCL will be final and binding.

b) Copy of Proof of Date of Birth (SSLC/SSC Certificate/Birth Certificate)
c) Copy of Caste certificate in the format required for Central Government employment (In case
of SC/OBC-NCL) and service certificate in support of claims for Ex- servicemen, if any. In
case of EWS candidate, certificate in the format required for Central Government
employment (Format attached)
d) Two passport size recent photographs.
e) Experience Certificate issued by previous employer.
f) Character certificate from Gazetted officer/Executive officers for certifying that he/she is
bearing good moral character.
