Job Description

Prodigal is Hiring for Data Analyst

Our products utilize AI for advanced speech analytics, providing real-time guidance for agents, automatic notes after calls, and analysis for quality assurance and compliance.

Our team is highly skilled, and we see an opportunity to revolutionize the debt industry. Prior to Prodigal, this industry relied on manual processes, leading to poor customer experiences. Our mission is to streamline the debt repayment process through automation and data analysis.

You’ll focus on influencing key decisions across the company and improving them using data. You’ll collaborate with teams like Data Science, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to identify growth opportunities, deepen our business understanding, forecast future performance, and build predictive models for positive outcomes. You’ll lead all data analytics efforts within the organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and manage data sources for various purposes, powering business reports and internal operations.
  • Present findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels, using visual displays of data.
  • Develop and automate reports, prototype dashboards, and provide insights at scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, conduct end-to-end analysis, and deliver presentations.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Prodigal’s data structures and metrics, advocating for changes when necessary.
  • Mentor junior analysts.

What you should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, Physics, or similar fields (advanced degrees are a plus).
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data wrangling using tools like Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau. Knowledge of PySpark and Databricks is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and interpret results for decision-making.
  • Prior experience mentoring others.

Benefits:

  • Health insurance coverage for employees and their families.
  • Support for training materials, courses, and exam fees related to your role.
  • Generous leave policy.
