Role Overview:

Our Data and Business Intelligence (BI) teams focus on providing important insights to our clients and stakeholders who manage payroll.

We aim to give our internal leaders and stakeholders the data they need to make smart decisions. Our clients also use our analytical tools to understand their international payroll and employee data better, helping them manage their global workforce effectively.

Right now, we’re looking for a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our energetic team. We need someone who can blend data analysis with strong engineering skills, and who has experience tackling complex analytical problems.

How you will make a difference:

  • Work closely with both data engineering and BI teams to create integrated data solutions.
  • Collaborate with different teams to develop and put into action data products that meet our business goals and keep up with changing analytical needs.
  • Help maintain and improve data models, pipelines, and dashboards.
  • Play a big part in keeping our data accurate and reliable, so we can use it for important processes.
  • Offer technical support to our stakeholders, helping them with questions or issues related to our data tools.

What will give you an advantage:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math.
  • Good skills in Python, especially for data analysis.
  • Strong skills in SQL for working with data models and analysis.
  • Experience setting up and improving data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and knowing about event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with data visualization and user interfaces.
  • Expertise in making sure data is good quality and reliable, using automated monitoring and testing.
  • Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well alone or with a team.

Would be even better if you have:

  • Over 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills in other scripting languages like TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of BI tools like Domo, PowerBI, or QuickSight.
  • Familiarity with AWS services like Glue, Athena, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
  • Understanding of payroll or HR topics.
  • Experience with Machine Learning and AI.

Our Global Benefits:

  • Autonomy & Flexibility: Work the way that suits you best.
  • Bonding Leave: Paid time off to spend with your new family member.
  • 2 Charitable Days: Get paid to help causes you care about.
  • Reward & Recognition Program: Be rewarded for your hard work and for championing our values.
  • Corporate bonus/SIP: All team members are eligible for our annual bonus scheme or sales incentive plan.
  • Coworking Space: Need to meet clients or just need a change of scenery? We’ve got flexible workspace options for you.

Why join us as a team member:

  • International Environment: Grow your network and work with people from all over the world.
  • Our Culture: We value our people and make sure your ideas are heard and your efforts recognized.
  • Learning: We support your growth by giving you access to learning platforms where you can learn at your own pace.
