Data Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

•  Plan how to set up data systems.
•  Create systems to move data around, including making, testing, and looking after different parts of the data system.
•  Decide how databases should be set up to put different pieces of data together and make sure they’re correct.
•  Deal with big, complicated sets of data to solve tricky problems using advanced techniques.
•  Make business tasks related to data happen automatically (like reconciling accounts or making invoices).
•  Make reports happen automatically.
   Set up a system that finds mistakes in the data and lets people know about them.
•  Work closely with other people like Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers,
• Programmers, and Project Managers to figure out what data systems they need and how to make them.

Necessary Skills:

•  Be curious, creative, and take charge of your work.
•  Be proactive and able to work on your own without needing lots of instructions.
•  Know Python, Pandas, Numpy, and how to handle and present data.
•  Know how to use both SQL and NoSQL databases.
•  Know about data streaming and big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
•  Know how to use Python frameworks like Django and Flask.
•  Know how to use reporting tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
•  Have a good understanding of basic engineering concepts like algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
•  Understand either object-oriented or functional programming well.
