Data Engineer, CDP, Databricks, ADLS, Python

As a Data Engineer, your job is to help build and maintain data systems like pipelines, streams, and databases. You’ll work with other teams like software engineers, analysts, and scientists to make sure these systems meet the needs of our Comms and Branding strategy.
 
You’ll focus on the Customer Data Platform, which combines data, technology, and content to create personalized experiences for users. Your role involves designing and delivering the Adobe Experience Platform and related services. You’ll work with teams around the world to integrate with our marketing ecosystem.
 
What you’ll do:
 
  •  Design and build large datasets and pipelines for our Adobe Experience Platform.
  •  Understand marketing data needs and build complex pipelines for real-time data and analysis.
  •  Create reliable pipelines for processing, distributing, and storing data effectively.
  •  Ensure our solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
  •  Build secure and scalable APIs for accessing data.
  • Turn data into insights that help with business decisions.
  •  Develop machine-learning models to automate processes and solve business problems.
  •  Work with tools like Azure Data Lake, Cosmos, Databricks, and Data Factory.
 
Your team:
 
You’ll join the GOTO technology team, focusing on providing insights to marketers and sales teams. You’ll work with teams in Zurich, London, the USA, Poland, and India on various digital marketing and communication platforms.
 
Your skills:
 
  •  Understanding of BI data engineering techniques, from event streaming to real-time analytics.
  •  Experience building high-quality data pipelines and handling data technologies.
  •  Exposure to machine learning operations and emerging models.
  •  Ability to analyze complex pipelines critically.
  •  Experience with distributed computing or cloud environments.
  •  Knowledge of programming languages like Python and Scala, and tools like Jupyter Notebook, Databricks, and Power BI.
  •  Understanding of information lifecycle and data governance principles.
