STOXX is Hiring for Data Engineer
We need someone skilled in technology to help develop and use our advanced financial intelligence system. You’ll be in charge of making sure our data system works well and delivers information to our clients worldwide. You’ll work closely with others to improve our technology for managing investments.
Tasks:
- Help develop and run STOXX’s market data systems.
- Make sure our system can handle lots of data, works well, and meets our clients’ needs.
- Focus on making improvements and watching how well our system works.
- Work with different teams to put plans for market data into action.
- Find ways to make our system work better and keep our clients happy.
- Stay updated on new trends and technologies for managing data in the cloud.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in data engineering, especially with cloud systems.
- Experience building and using big data systems.
- Know a lot about Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products like databases, serverless systems, and APIs.
- Know how to design and use serverless systems.
- Have experience leading and teaching teams.
- Know how to use agile methods to improve products bit by bit.
- Worked in teams with people from around the world.
- Good at talking and working with others.
- Can think of new ideas and make things better all the time.
- Like making things simple, automating tasks, and watching how well things work.
- Have a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expertise in DBT, Python, SQL, Apigee, and Airflow.
- Knowing about financial markets and data models is a bonus.
