About the Role:
We’re seeking a creative thinker with an engineering mindset, bringing fresh insights from diverse areas like large-scale platform design, analytics, data structures, security practices, and large-scale data processing environments. As a Backend Engineer at CleverTap, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, designers, and software engineers. Your role will involve designing, building, deploying, and scaling various products within the CleverTap Platform.
What You’ll Do:
- You’ll write server-side scripts and APIs used by frontend engineers and other microservices.
- Day-to-day tasks include optimizing servers for speed and stability, implementing robust security measures, developing reusable code libraries, and devising data storage solutions.
- You’ll work directly with the product team to define requirements, estimate delivery timelines for features, and document technical specifications for development.
What We’re Looking For:
Must Have:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in backend development, including designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale applications with JVM languages or other server-side technologies.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects with minimal bugs.
- Proficiency in data structures, OOP concepts, and Java.
Good to Have:
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, and AWS.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js.
- Previous knowledge of FCM and APNS services.
