• Help the analyst team of a big company that specializes in buying stocks.
• Keep the special models used to figure out how much companies are worth up to date.
• Make sure the numbers used to figure out a company’s worth are right.
• Help out during times when companies report their earnings, by updating models and making guesses about future earnings.
• Look closely at company financial reports to make sure everything’s correct.
• Read company presentations, call transcripts, and reports from brokers to understand how they affect a company’s worth.
• Keep an eye on news and stock prices for the companies we’re interested in.
• Do extra analysis on money stuff for different companies and industries.
• Look at how companies are doing in terms of environmental, social, and governance stuff.
