Simetrik is Hiring for Python – Backend Developer
About the Role:
As a Backend Developer, your primary responsibility will be the development and implementation of cloud dataflow solutions, with a particular emphasis on managing databases and handling high volumes of information. Collaborating closely with integration and customer success teams, you will play a pivotal role in project success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong experience with Django and FAST API Framework
- Expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL
- Demonstrated technical skills with real-world examples
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with multiple remote teams
- Experience in Unit Testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in developing Software as a Service (SaaS) within a B2B model
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Batch, Lambda, S3, Api Gateway, and ECS
- Proficiency in Python libraries including Django, Pandas, Boto3, Requests, and Pysftp
- Knowledge of Git and Continuous Integration (CI/CD)
- Interest in implementing data flows in cloud environments
- Fluency in both written and spoken English (and Spanish)
- Startup experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Management of relational databases
- Development of unit tests for various API Rest functionalities
- Implementation of API Rest systems, prioritizing database management for high volumes of information
