Job Description

Responsibilities –

  • Work with the Asia Equity Quants team.
  • Look at big sets of data and make charts and tables.
  • Use Python, SAS, or Excel for analysis.
  • Make and keep databases with data from different places.
  • Help with any requests for data or analysis.
  • Find new patterns in data using machine learning.
  • Study data, understand it, and tell clients what you find.

Skills needed –

  • Good at programming, especially Python or SAS.

  • Know how to handle data and do finance stuff with Python tools like pandas and NumPy.

  • If you know how to use Bloomberg or FactSet, that’s even better.

  • It’s good if you know about investing.
    Be good at Excel and VBA, and be able to handle big databases.
    Pay close attention to details.

  • Be ready to take charge, be organized, and work with different groups.
    Know a lot about finding, collecting, and putting together data.

  • Be good at talking to people from around the world.
    Solve problems well, even with little help.

  • Make good charts and tables from your analysis.
    Be hardworking and careful.
