1. Children of eligible beneficiaries under the KALIA scheme can apply. These beneficiaries are in two groups: Cultivators for Cultivation and Livelihood Support for Landless Agricultural Households.
2. The student’s parent must be eligible under KALIA when checked by the Chief District Agriculture Officer (CDAO).
3. The student must have gotten into a government school in the state based on their grades.
4. If the student already has another scholarship, they can’t get this one too. If they want the KALIA Scholarship, they’ll have to switch from their current one.
5. You can only get the KALIA Scholarship for one professional course. You can’t get it for a second one.
6. Government Institutions are schools set up by the state government for its programs. Private schools or ones set up by the central government don’t count.

Benefits of the Scholarship Program
- Tuition and Other Fees: The scholarship covers tuition fees, annual fees, one-time fees, hostel charges, and other college/university/institution fees, excluding caution money or any refundable amounts. These funds are directly deposited into the student’s account through DBT.
- Mess/Hostel Charges: Degree & Diploma/Polytechnic/ITI students receive ₹1200 per month for mess/hostel charges, while ₹1000 per month is provided for ten months, following the guidelines of the ST & SC Development, Minorities, and BCW Department.
Additional Notes:
1. Refunds and Penalties: Institutions will handle refunds and penalties according to the guidelines of the relevant Department/Institution. Any refundable security deposit is not part of the scholarship and must be paid by the student.
2. Scholarship Conditions: If a student is found to have obtained the scholarship through false information, discontinues studies, or receives another scholarship, the scholarship may be canceled.

6. Forward Application: Send the verified application to the Chief District Agriculture Officer.
7. Duplicate Applications: If a student applies multiple times, only one application will be considered.
