Duties and Responsibilities
Those assigned to the above position will be directed to fulfill their duties and responsibilities by the Municipal Corporation. The tasks and responsibilities associated with the position will be communicated through instructions issued by the Municipal Commissioner and Chief Accountant. Compliance with the orders given in a timely manner will be required to carry out the assigned tasks.
Eligibility Criteria

Application Process
Profile Creation / Profile Update
Candidates are required to create a profile on www.pmc.gov.in by clicking on the registration link for new users. Once registered, the system will display the login page. To create a new account (user’s name, login, and password), candidates should fill in all the required information on the login page.
- When filling out profile details, candidates must provide a valid email ID, valid mobile number, and date of birth.
- Candidates should have an email ID and mobile number that they use daily. Since communication, admit cards, and other information will be provided online during the recruitment process, it is essential to have a registered and active email ID and mobile number.
- After profile creation, candidates should log in with their credentials to the profile. Once logged in, they should accurately fill in personal information, contact details, additional information, educational qualifications, experience, etc.
Photo and Signature Upload
After creating the profile, candidates should log in using their credentials (Login and Password) and upload the following:
- Attach a recent photo/signature on a white paper. The photo should be scanned directly and not stapled or pinned. Scanning should be done using a scanner.
- Photo size: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm
- Photo should be in color, passport-style, with a light background, and no cap or goggles allowed.
- File size: Between 20kb and 50kb.
- Scanned image size should not exceed 50kb.
- Signature:
- Use a black ink pen to sign on a white paper.
- Signature size: 140 x 60 pixels
- File size: Between 10kb and 20kb.
- Scanned image size should not exceed 20kb.

Candidates are advised to follow the scanning and uploading guidelines mentioned above to ensure the accuracy of the details provided in their profiles. It is crucial to have a valid and functioning email ID and mobile number throughout the recruitment process, as all communications will be sent online. Non-compliance may result in disqualification, or other legal actions may be taken.
Scanning of Documents
Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi and set the color to true color.
Process for Document Upload
While filling out the online application, candidates will be provided with a separate link for uploading their photo and signature.
Click on the relevant link “Upload Photo/Signature” after completing the online application. Without uploading the photo and signature, the online application will not be considered registered.
- If the face in the photograph or the signature is unclear, the candidate’s application may be rejected.
- After uploading the photo/signature in the online application, candidates should ensure that the images are clear and properly uploaded.
- Candidates should make sure that the uploaded photo meets the required dimensions and the face is clearly visible.
Application Submission
- The printed application form will be available for submission on the Pune Municipal Corporation website www.punecorporation.org from January 16, 2024.
- Please note that candidates must make the examination fee payment through the provided online payment gateway.
Examination Fee
- For candidates in the open category: ₹1000/-
- For candidates in the reserved category: ₹900/-
- Only online payment method is accepted.
- Former soldiers/disabled former soldiers are eligible for a waiver of the examination fee.
- The process of online payment and the corresponding receipt should be submitted along with the online application for verification.
- If a candidate applies for more than one post advertised in multiple advertisements, they must submit separate applications and pay the examination fee separately for each.
